Cost of Forklift Training:
The forklift Licence course costs $569 per person on your worksite (Minimum three to five participants required depending on location)
Locations over 50 km from the Nambour campus will incur travel and accommodation.
Standard Forklift Licence Course:
A standard forklift training course includes 2 – 3 days of training and assessment with a maximum of six students and a minimum of three (3) students. Contact us to organise dates at your workplace. If the class size is more than three (3) people the course is three days. The training consists of face to face in a classroom training with practical machine activities outside. The forklift training course is delivered in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast at your workplace.
The amount of learning will be influenced by the capability, experience with prior knowledge, size of class and skills including the LLN level of each participant.
Overview:
This unit includes the theoretical and practical components of Forklift operations.
It includes: plan for forklift work, conducting forklift pre-operational checks, operate the forklift, shift loads in a safe manner, and safely shut down and secure equipment after completing forklift operations.
The course is suitable for anyone who wishes to operate a Forklift within the Australian workplace.
You will need to apply for your High-Risk Work licence with Queensland WHS when you have completed your course.

Pre-Requisites:
Students must have a sound workplace and LLN skills. Typical tasks they will do during the course:
- use a range of communication skills, such as listening, questioning, reading, interpreting and writing documents during the forklift training.

Outcomes of Forklift Licence:
On successful completion of this course, participants will be issued a ‘Statement of Attainment’ and assessment summary certifying competence of the unit.
Necessary details of successful assessment for use to apply for their High-Risk Work Licence application online or in-person with WHS state authority.

RPL:
No RPL is available for this licence. Previous experience will be acknowledged during the course to establish assessment readiness.

Further Information on Forklift Licence:
All training aids and safety equipment are provided for use as required. Maximum student numbers exist depending on the facility. To be an experienced Forklift Operator
typical tasks include:
• Risk assessment of the area
• Pre-start the Forklift
• Conduct operational checks after pre-start
• Operate the forklift in a safe manner
• Shift loads
• Shut down and secure the Forklift.

Our certificates are run anywhere in Queensland by doing online and face to face training. These courses include CERT II IN HORTICULTURE AHC20422, CERTIFICATE III IN PARKS AND GARDENS AHC31021, CERTIFICATE III IN BUSINESS BSB30120.
